How to do a Structured Workout

Stryd Power-Based Workouts.

Updated over 6 months ago

Structured workouts on the watch can only be performed on Garmin Connect IQ 3.0 watches, and Apple Watch series 2 and above.

Even if your watch is not compatible, you can still perform Stryd Workouts with other watches. You will just need to memorize the workout or manually enter the Stryd Workout into your compatible platform.

Garmin Watch Users

If you have a newer Garmin watch, please make sure that you either update your Stryd Zones Data Fields or install the Stryd Garmin Workout app.

Executing Structured Power-Based Workout on a Garmin:

The Stryd team recommends that new users first try and complete a Stryd power-based workout using Stryd Zones Data Fields before downloading the Stryd Workout app for Garmin.

Make sure you turn off Auto-Lap before trying to complete a workout. The Auto-Lap feature will negatively affect the workout experience.
