What are Stryd Duo and Stryd Footpath?

Stryd Duo is a dual-sided running power meter that consists of two Stryd pods (either two Next Gen or two Stryd 5.0 pods) paired together in the Stryd Mobile App. It provides advanced left/right gait metrics not available with a single pod.

Stryd Footpath is a footpath visualization tool that creates a visual representation of each foot’s path during a run. It helps runners analyze gait patterns to support injury recovery, monitor fatigue, track how running drills affect form, and evaluate footwear impacts. What do I get with Stryd Duo? (Core Metrics & Benefits)

When you pair two pods into Stryd Duo, you receive new second-by-second balance metrics that provide deeper insight into how your body moves while running:

  • Ground Contact Time Balance

  • Vertical Ratio

  • Vertical Oscillation Balance

  • Leg Spring Stiffness Balance

  • Impact Loading Rate Balance

These metrics show left/right differences and help quantify symmetry and form changes during the run. (https://help.stryd.com/en/articles/8548514-understanding-the-new-stryd-duo-metrics)
