How do I pair my Stryd Duo? How do I set up Stryd Duo?

Update to the latest version of the Stryd mobile app

For iOS, version 8.1.9 or higher is required

For Android, version 8.13.47 or higher is required


Pair your Stryd Duo in the Stryd mobile app

  1. Open the Stryd mobile app on your phone

  2. Tap the 'Settings' cog in the top-right corner of the Stryd mobile app

  3. Ensure you have both pods near you and then select 'Pair Stryd'

    1. If you already have a Stryd paired to the app, select “Pair Second ‘Next Gen’ Pod”

  4. You will be prompted to bring one pod near your phone.

    1. Tap the 'Continue' button and then select 'Pair'

  5. One of your Stryd pods will blink to show that one pod has been found.

  6. Next, select 'Pair a second Next Gen Pod'

    1. Tap the 'Continue' button and then select 'Pair'

  7. Both of your Stryd pods will blink to show that they have been found.

    1. If prompted, please update the firmware. You should wait for both firmware to update. Do NOT close the Stryd app or open another app while the firmware is updating.

  8. Your Stryd Duo is active now!

Note: Two Next Gen Stryd pods are required for Stryd Duo


Update the firmware of Stryd Duo in the Stryd mobile app

  1. Open the Stryd mobile app on your phone

  2. Tap the 'Settings' cog in the top-right corner of the Stryd mobile app

  3. Tap on 'Stryd Duo'

  4. Tap on 'Update Firmware'

    1. You should wait for both firmware to update. Do NOT close the Stryd app or open another app while the firmware is updating.

  5. Your Stryd Duo is updated now!


What is ANT-ID?

ANT-ID is the identifier of your Stryd Duo used when pairing Stryd Duo with your Garmin watch.

If you are using a Garmin watch, please use this number to identify for your pod when pairing Stryd Duo.

You can find your ANT+ ID by doing the following:

  1. Open the Stryd mobile app on your phone

  2. Go to Settings by tapping the cog in the top right hand corner

  3. Select Stryd

  4. Scroll down to see your ANT+ ID

If there is no ANT-ID, please follow these instructions to find the ANT+ ID instead:

Note: If you are not using a Garmin watch, you will not need to use this number.
