Building Stryd Power-Based workouts is now possible from your laptop or desktop computer! This PowerCenter Workout Builder is perfect for people who want to build and organize workouts on a larger screen.

Please note that you will need to be a Stryd Membership subscriber to access the Workout Builder in the mobile app and PowerCenter.

Accessing the PowerCenter Workout Builder

There are a few different ways to open the PowerCenter Workout Builder.

Accessing the Workout Builder from the PowerCenter Calendar from a specific date you wish to add a workout to:

  1. Log in to your Stryd PowerCenter account on your computer

  2. Select the Calendar icon in the top left of your screen

  3. Hover your mouse over the date you wish to add a workout to

  4. The [+] icon should appear next to the date

  5. Select the [+] icon

  6. You will be able to select “Create Workout” to build a new workout or “Add Workout from Library” to add a workout from the workout library.

  7. By selecting “Create Workout” you will open the Workout Builder

Accessing the Workout Builder from the Workout Library in PowerCenter:

  1. Log in to your Stryd PowerCenter account on your computer

  2. Select the Calendar icon in the top left of your screen

  3. Select the Workout Library icon in the top right of the Calendar screen

  4. Select the (+) icon next to the title “Workout Library”

  5. This will open the Workout Builder

Building a Workout in PowerCenter

Here are the instructions to get started building workouts from PowerCenter:

  1. To start, you will need to “Add a new block to start editing”

  2. You will have all of the same workout builder options that you have on the mobile app

  3. You can customize the Preview on the left of the screen by naming your new workout, adding a workout type, adding a description, scheduling the workout, or adding it to an existing workout collection.

Editing Existing Workouts

The PowerCenter Workout Builder can also be used to edit any Stryd workout on your calendar.

Edit Workouts on your Stryd Calendar

  1. Select the workout on your Stryd Calendar you wish to edit

  2. Select the “pencil” icon next to the workout name

  3. Now you have opened the Workout Builder!

Modify workout segments

The PowerCenter Workout Builder gives you the ability to edit specific segments of your workout.

Reorder Segments

Unlike the Stryd Mobile app, the PowerCenter Workout Builder gives you the ability to reorder workout blocks. You can do this by clicking and dragging the left side of the segment you wish to reorder.

Duplicate Segments

If you need to duplicate a specific segment of a workout, you can by tapping the Duplicate button on the right side of the segment next to the Delete segment button.

Save a Stryd Pre-Build Workout to your custom Collection

If you love an existing Stryd Workout but want to make some custom edits that can be saved and reused in the future, you can!

Save through the Workout Library

  1. Select the three vertical dots next to the Stryd Workout you want to edit

  2. Select “Save to collection”

  3. This will allow you to save this Stryd Workout to one of your custom Collections. Or you can create a new custom Collection to save this workout in.

Save from the Calendar

  1. From the Calendar view in PowerCenter select the three vertical dots next to the workout you wish to save to your custom Collection

  2. Then select “Save to library”

  3. This will allow you to save this Stryd Workout to one of your custom Collections. Or you can create a new custom Collection to save this workout in.

Limitations

Third-party workouts need to be edited on the source platform. This means that you can not edit TrainingPeaks, Final Surge, or other third-party workouts on the Stryd PowerCenter.

You also can not edit custom workouts in your custom workout library. So if you want to permanently change one of your custom workouts saved to your custom workout library, you will need to do so on the app.
