Before setting up your Garmin watch with Stryd, be sure to pair your Stryd pod to the Stryd mobile app in the app Settings.

Step 0: Connecting Garmin Account with Stryd and Installing Stryd Zones Datafield.

  5. Select the ‘Back’ button to view the Stryd Settings.

  6. Select your ‘Stryd’ or ‘Stryd Duo’ from the Paired Devices list.

  9. From the home screen of the app, select the ‘more’ button (3 horizontal dots).

  10. Scroll down and select ‘Connect IQ Store’.

Don't see your ANT-ID in the Stryd app? This is ok, you can find the ANT-ID of your Stryd pod using your Garmin watch. Follow this LINK and write down your ANT-ID.

Step 1: Configuring Stryd Zones Datafield in Connect IQ

In previous steps, you installed the Stryd Zones Datafield. Now we are going to ensure the datafield is properly configured. Open the Garmin Connect IQ app and navigate to the Stryd Zones Data Fields. These are the required steps.

  1. Once ‘Stryd Zones | Data Field’ has been installed, select Settings while still viewing the data field in Connect IQ.

  2. Enter the “Stryd ANT ID” into the ANT-ID field.

  3. Enter the (STRYD USERNAME) used to create your account in the username field.

Optional: come back to the data field Settings at any time to customize your screen.

If you are unable to install the Stryd Zones Data Fields on your Mobile device then you may need to install the Data Fields using Garmin Express.

Step 2: Connecting the Stryd Sensors

The Stryd pod('s) has multiple sensors available but only a few of them are Garmin compatible. It is necessary to turn these erroneous connections off for the best Garmin & Stryd experience.

  1. On your Garmin watch, press and hold the left middle button (labeled UP) to access the watch Settings.

  2. Scroll down to Settings and select the 'Sensors and Accessories' menu

  3. Select ‘Add New’ and select ‘Search all sensors’. NOTE: Move your Stryd Pod around as your watch searches.

For Single Pod Stryd Users

  • Add each of the following 3 sensors: (FP-ANTID), (PWR-ANTID), and (FP-Stryd or FP-StrydX - whichever is available).

NOTE: If you can’t add all 3 sensors add the available sensors. Then select ‘search all’ again to add any missed sensors.

For Stryd Duo Users

  • Add each of the following 4 sensors: (FP-ANTID), (PWR-ANTID), (FP-StrydX), (RD Pod-ANTID).

Performing your first run:

You’re all set! If you have a workout-compatible watch, you can perform a guided workout by scheduling a run from the workout library (available with the Stryd Membership) or signing up for a training plan for a guided experience.

Please note: Stryd does not show power on the native Garmin Workout screen. Only on the installed data field. You can ignore the native workout screen when using Stryd for power workouts.

If you choose not to do a guided run, you’ll still see Stryd power on your watch in the field where you enabled it in the above steps.
