When using a compatible Garmin watch with your Stryd, power and other run data are recorded by your watch. We recommend that runners use the app supplied by the watchmaker to sync run data (i.e. Garmin Connect). If PowerCenter is set up to sync with Garmin Connect, the data will flow automatically from Garmin Connect to PowerCenter.

Stryd also records your running data (up to 9 hours) on your foot pod. You can upload your Stryd data using the Stryd app on your phone. This will upload your run data to PowerCenter as well. This may cause your run to appear twice in PowerCenter.

It is important to note that the Stryd pod is a fully functioning device that automatically starts recording once it senses run movement. This run data is saved on the pod after every run and is available for upload via an Offline Sync. The Stryd data is very similar to the watch data. There can be small differences in data. This is because Stryd records data automatically as soon as the pod is activated, whereas your watch only records data when you start the watch. So the Stryd may collect some walking data before and after the run.
