Setting a Calibration Factor In Stryd Mobile App for Phone-Recorded Runs
Updated over a week ago

The Stryd Mobile App offers both Indoor and Outdoor Run execution right on your mobile device. In certain cases, you may want to set a pace and distance calibration for the best Stryd experience. This is often done to match a calibration factor that was set on a sports watch and validated outdoors through a calibration test (see more about calibrating Stryd here-> Distance and Calibration). This article explains how to set that calibration factor in your Stryd Mobile Device.

1) Open the Stryd Mobile App

2) Select Settings in the upper right corner of the screen.

3) Select Live Run Settings

4) Adjust your calibration factor to the value you have determined should be used. Calibration factors should almost never fall outside of the range from 0.970 to 1.030.

NOTE: Calibration factors in the mobile app will be applied to all run modes. Keep this in mind if you choose to use a different calibration factor for indoor runs than you use for outdoor runs.
